It is very interesting the premise EXCEPT it is so boring and I totally hated his soviet nationalism be because he tried to discredit world scientist’s works saying thee best gida about life were on the soviet union. Oparins most pertinent ideas can be summarized quite concisely, but we end up with over pages due to an overabundance of examples and critiques of other theories which was, nevertheless, a very enjoyable part of the book.

We must read this book alecander into account what it is: It uses a lot the word “demonstration”, which I find too big for lucubrations about the past, and of course says nothing about DNA because its role was not known. But in general it’s a very good book, even brilliant: A must vdia for every science lover and hater.
