Well, you’ve got to love a book that teaches you something and gives you some laughs at the same time. This leads to the only true complaint that I have. OK, so, yes, this is a grammar book. As I mentioned earlier, her jokes hit the mark for the most part, but there are a few that fall flat.

While I did appreciate the bottom-line messages of her book trust yourself, and a lot of the time there is no single right answershe didn’t really provide a lot of learning or demonstrate any particular knowledge. She is funny though, after a while, the “outsider” shtick gets a little old.
