I absolutely HATE it when authors try to polish and sparkle the existence of all things supernatural. It can fire 2.
Book 7 in the Jane Yellowrock series. Oct 01, Wealhtheow rated it did not like it Shelves: Lovers of kick-ass heroines and Native American folklore. Yellowrofk Yellowrock is back on the prowl against the children of the night Thankfully, this book is so blandly mediocre that within a week I’ll have forgotten it and every way in which it annoyed me. There’s a lot about herself she doesn’t know though some of those mysteries will skinwaoker revealed in the course of skonwalker book ; she remembers nothing before she stumbled out of the Appalachian wilderness some 18 years ago, at an age the authorities guessed to be about twelve, an apparently feral child.

When her house is magically attacked, the wild chase to find her assailants unearths a mystery that has literally been skinwwalker deep. The world Faith Hunter has created is very intricate, particularly when it came to the Skinwalker mythology.
Jane Yellowrock is back on the prowl against the children of the night… The vampire council has hired skinwalker Jane Yellowrock to hunt and kill skiwalker of their own who has broken sacred ancient rules-but Jane quickly realizes that in a community that is thousands of years old, loyalties run deep…. And Beast is pretty darn cool, too. I liked Bruiser Jane’s nickname for Georgewho is the blood servant for one of the most prominent male vamps and he wasn’t shabby either.
