Definitely worth a read. Awesome book on men and women and what the Bible says about them. Reading Piper’s anthology with Discovering Biblical Equality makes for some good sport. The biblical roles are indeed a high calling.

I had always thought the Genesis 3 verse meant women were cursed to desire the approval of men, but I guess not. One must also argue that children are less valuable than parents, that employees are less valuable than employers, and that ordinary citizens are less valuable than government officials because all of those relationships involve differing roles. Why not seek unity and intimacy instead of bemoaning my lost manhood that I have to go on an adventure of recovering?
